British silver coins

I recently visited a local antique store and found a package of British 3-pence silver coins with dates running from 1912-1940. The 150 coins in the package sell for $150, or $1 per coin. As I know very little about British coins and their silver content, I have no idea whether this is a good price for them.

There are some 3-pence coins for sale at APMEX, plus some on eBay, but it's hard to figure out what would be a reasonable price for them.

If anyone knows, I will be in their eternal debt! :emotions15:

pre 1940's are all 50 % silver .

No numismatic value so just go by the scrap silver price

best of luck

The link below may help you up to 1920 92.25% after 1920 50% also would
say that depending on condition they are probably collectable to someone
if you place them up for auction i may have a bid myself.
